    On Thursday, 1st March, 2018, the Rector of VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS) - Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Noi had a meeting with the delegation from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) Asia led by Dr. Markus Wächter - Managing Director of TUM Asia.

    In the meeting, two sides have discussed about further cooperation between both universities on the chemistry-related departments (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Building Materials and Polymer Science).

    The Rector of VNU-HUS - Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Noi stressed: “I strongly support collaboration between two universities not only Chemistry but also in all faculties and fields such as renewable energy, climate change and biotechnology...”. 

    On behalf of TUM Asia, Dr. Markus Wächter would like to thank the warmly welcome and support of the VNU-HUS and hopes that two universities will have further cooperation such as student exchange programs, join seminars and workshops together in the near future.

    TUM Asia is a subsidiary of Technische Universität München (TUM) in Singapore and the result of the first ever German-Asian university partnership.  Through the joint Master programmes with Singapore’s renowned universities, the National University of Singapore (“NUS”) and the Nanyang Technological University (“NTU”), TUM Asia aims to bridge academic education, industry knowledge and research to qualify young professionals for technology- oriented leadership roles in a competitive global economy.
